<p style="text-align: left;">In accordance  with guidelines suggested by the American Medical Association, please  acknowledge the following when communicating by email with any  physician:</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">1. Please understand that emergency needs cannot be met by email  and that email is not checked on a regular basis. Urgencies should be referred  to the office or the 24-hour answering service. Emergencies should be handled by  calling &#8220;911.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">2. If the problem that you plan to email is complicated or long,  it would be better for you to schedule an appointment with one of our  physicians. If you email an extremely complex problem, we may email you back and  ask you to schedule an appointment.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">3. Security of email messages is limited by your server, computer,  software, browser, and access to your system. Security is appropriately  controlled on our website and email system.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">4. Email is not a substitute for an office visit and/or physical  examination. It is only a convenient means of introduction or communication to  handle simple needs, questions, or drawing attention to various aspects of your  care.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">5. Copies of your email correspondence will be kept in your  chart.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">6. If you abuse your email privileges, such electronic interaction  may be terminated at any time, by email filters and your messages will not be  read.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">A: Click on Create an Account to register to use the features available on this website. Once you have created a User ID and Password you can access any of our secure features.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Please make a note of your user ID and Password for later sessions. If you have forgotten your password and remember your user ID you can click on the &#8220;forgot my password&#8221; button located on the login screen.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Q:<strong> <em>What is My Messages?</em></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">A: The My Messages is your personal inbox. Once you create a user ID and password you can access your inbox to securely communicate with us. When you receive an email that your provider has responded, you will need to login to My Messages or the My Patient Page to view the response.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;"><em>For security purposes NO email messages will be sent with any of your personal information. Email will only be used to notify you of responses from your provider.</em></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Q:<strong><em> How do I complete pre-registration?</em></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">A: If you have already created a User ID and password you can login by clicking on Pre-registration. You will see form specific instructions when you login. Complete the form entirely &#8211; required questions are indicated by a red asterisk. You will know you have finished pre-registration when you see a confirmation message thanking you for completing pre-registration.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Q: <strong><em>Will I be able to update my telephone, address, names, insurance information and how will you be aware of this.</em></strong></p>

<p style="text-align: left;">We will make every attempt to reply to your routine appointment request in a timely manner. Once we have processed your request you will either receive an e-mail asking you to log onto the website to securely receive our response.</p>
